The Brashear boys faced La Plata in the first round of districts Monday night. The game was close in the 1st half, but Brashear managed to go into halftime with a 28-22 lead. Brashear extended the lead to as much as 15 points in the 2nd half before LaPlata came charging back, but the LaPlata rally failed as Brashear advanced with a 57-49 win.
